2024 Theme Events
January:
Jan 12-15: Hot Cocoa & Crafts Weekend: Warm up this weekend with hot cocoa and crafts. We will have free and paid crafts for all ages to enjoy. On Saturday night we will have a community campfire & hot cocoa bar.
February:
9-11: Beary Special Valentine Weekend: Grab your sweetheart and camp for a festive weekend. Yogi Bear™ will be offering a flower delivery for your special someone and we will have games for the entire family. Join us as we finish the weekend with a Sweetheart Dinner for the family.
16-19: S’more Fun Weekend: It’s s’more fun when you go camping! Enjoy games, s’more delivery from Yogi Bear™, and a community campfire with a s’mores bar at night.
March:
15-17: Yogi Bear’s Lucky Charm Weekend: Put your green on and join us for crafts, games, green dress up contest and a Shamrock hunt!
22-24: Rise & Shine Weekend: Yogi Bear™ is so excited to wake up his friends! Join him for a weekend filled with fun and all 3 bears making crafts, getting photos and autographs and even a picnic lunch with the bears!
March 29-31: Hop Till you Drop Weekend: Happy Easter! Come hunt for eggs with egg hunts for all ages and even the dogs. The bears will be delivering Easter Baskets ($) and we will have all the traditional Easter fun for you and some fun with Chocolate Bunny and Peeps Bingo!
April:
1-7: Spring into Fun Week: We’re excited for spring! Join us for a week of mini golf tournaments, fishing, spring crafts and outdoor games!
12-14: Reelin’ In the Fun Weekend: It’s a weekend all about fishing! We will have lots of tournaments as well as a few fun and silly events like a gummy worm eating contest.
April 19-21: Happy Vintage Camper Weekend: Pull out your poodle skirts and vinyl for a vintage weekend! On Saturday morning there will be a Classic Car Show and the afternoon will feature the Vintage Camper Open House. We’ll end the weekend with a Sock Hop and the Vintage Camper awards. If you have a vintage camper or car you want to be in the shows, please let us know when making your reservation.
April 26-28: Back to Nature Weekend: Join Ranger Smith™ as he leads you in the Jr. Ranger Program. You can participate in activities such as a nature walk, craft, and learning about the great outdoors. There will even be an opportunity to enroll in the Jr. Ranger Program ($). Saturday night will have a community bonfire and recognize our Jr. Ranger graduates from the weekend!
May:
3-5: Taco ‘Bout a Fun Weekend: Taco ‘bout a fun weekend! Get ready for a nacho bar, family trivia, a pinata and more!
10-12: Marvelous Mom’s Weekend: It’s time to show mom your love! There will be a free gift for all moms (while supplies) and as well as a raffle. Mom’s can also join in on Moms Night Out for painting and snacks. We'll have a breakfast delivery for you to surprise mom on Sunday morning ($). There will be plenty for the kids and other members of the family too!
17-19: Getting Crafty Weekend: Get your creative juice flowing! We will have free and paid crafts for all ages this weekend. Get ready for paint, glue, chalk, and maybe even some glitter!
24-27: Remembering America’s Heroes Weekend: It’s the unofficial start to summer! You will be able to enjoy site decorating, a golf cart parade, H2O “Hey” Ride, foam party and patriotic fun for all members of the family.
June:
May 31-June 2: My Pet & Me Weekend: A weekend all about you and your favorite furry friend. There will be games for your pet, look-alike contest, crafts and more.
7-13: Superhero, Super Good Week: Pack your cape and mask for a week of super fun! Join us for super challenges, crafts and even a dress up contest!
14-16: Father’s Fishing Retreat Weekend: Take dad camping so he can relax! There will be a free gift for all dads (while supplies) and as well as a raffle. Dads can also join in on contests such as fishing, root beer chugging and the biggest splash. We'll have a breakfast delivery for you to surprise dad on Sunday morning ($). There will be plenty for the kids and other members of the family too!
17-23: Aloha Summer Week: Aloha! Pack your grass skirt and palm trees for a lei’d back week. Join us for pool parties, site decorating contests, coconut bowling and maybe even a chance to hula dance.
24-30: Boo Boo’s Buried Treasure Week: Batten down the hatches for a weekend of scavenger hunts, walking the plank and sword fights. Boo Boo™ will be enlisting a crew to join him for this pirate themed week.
July:
1-7: Red, White & Boo Boo™: Celebrate America with pool parties, watermelon socials, golf cart parades, site decorating contests and more fun that you can imagine! Be sure to wear your patriotic gear.
8-14: Yogi Bear’s Birthday Bash: Help us celebrate Yogi Bear’s birthday! We will play classic party games, make treats and crafts, and celebrate the Bear himself with cake and a party on Saturday. In lieu of gifts Yogi Bear asks that you bring new school supply items that he will donate to help local children.
15-21: Summer & Santa Week: Santa loves summer and so do we! This is a week jam packed with Christmas cheer. There will be caroling on “Hey” rides, Christmas games, gingerbread house making, and even a visit from the jolly man in red!
22-28: Cindy Bear’s Slumber Party Week: Calling all slumber party fans! Cindy Bear™ invites you to a week-long sleepover. We will have movie nights, games, crafts, donut decorating, and a big PJ party!
August:
July 29-Aug 4: Go for the Gold Week: This week is all about the gold. We will have games and competitions for all ages and the entire family that will be celebrated with Gold, Silver & Bronze.
5-11: Let’s Glow Week: Pack your glow sticks and neon clothes for a wild week. We will have glow “Hey” rides, neon parties, and glow-in-the-dark games.
12-18: Blast to the Past Week: We’re going to celebrate the fun in the decades all week long. Bring site decorations and an outfit from your favorite decade for a few contests. You can join the fun with silent disco, a dress up dance, throwback games and crafts!
23-25: Crazy for Chocolate Weekend: Calling all chocolate lovers to join in on a weekend filled with chocolate! We’ll have a chocolate milk chugging contest, chocolate slip n slide, crafts, games & of course everyone’s favorite - candy bar bingo!
September:
Aug 30-Sept 2: Labor Day Weekend: It’s time to say goodbye to summer but not before we celebrate! There will be a pool party, golf cart parade, dive-in move, and more fun than you can imagine.
6-8: Grandparent’s Weekend: Let's celebrate our grandparents with games for the both of you, a chance to make a gift and card for them, and time to be together.
13-15: Camper Appreciation Weekend: This weekend is our thank you to you! We will have classic camping games and contests as well as a cooking competition and the 3rd annual camper appreciation bingo. Camp with us on Friday and Saturday night and enjoy Thursday or Sunday night for free!
Sept 20-22: Western Weekend: Howdy! Grab your cowboy boots and hat for horse races, lasso contests, “hay” rides, gem mining and more.
27-29: Boo Boo Bash; Halloween #1: Halloween weekend #1 is great for the little kids! We will have games geared toward the smaller kids and a movie night for them. As usual we will have the Magic Pumpkin Patch, costume contests, and trick-or-treating.
October:
4-6: Pink is the New Orange; Halloween #2: Pack your pink and your Halloween supplies for a weekend of trick, treats and honoring breast cancer fighters and survivors. There will be a special costume contest and site decorating category for Pink. We will be making cards to mail to a NC hospital to encourage breast cancer fighters. As usual we will have the Magic Pumpkin Patch, costume contests, and trick-or-treating.
11-14: Haunted Harvest; Halloween #3: “Hey” Rides, harvest games, and haunts will abound as we play all weekend. As usual we will have the Magic Pumpkin Patch, costume contests, and trick-or-treating.
18-20: Terror-ific Weekend; Halloween #4: Get ready for a thrilling Halloween weekend! We will have games to test your limits, a creepy movie, and a terror scream contest. As usual we will have the Magic Pumpkin Patch, costume contests, and trick-or-treating.
25-27: Nightmare on Jellystone Park™ St.; Halloween #5: Time for tricks and treats! This weekend will feature glow-in-the-dark games, nighttime fun, scary stories and so much more. As usual we will have the Magic Pumpkin Patch, costume contests, and trick-or-treating.
November:
1-3: Huddle Up Weekend: Huddle up with us for a football themed weekend. There will be a site decorating contest, football games, a coloring contest and bingo.
8-10: Honoring Our Veterans Weekend: We will be honoring veterans with a flag raising event, coffee at The Creamery, a card making station and patriotic games.
15-17: Bonfire Bash Weekend: This is a weekend of fall games, apple cider and a Saturday night community campfire with a s’mores bar.
22-24: Jelly & Jammies Weekend: Help Yogi Bear™ as he spends the last weekend with his friends Cindy Bear™ & Boo Boo™ before their winter nap. There will be a jelly donut pj party, “hey” ride with the bears, and a bedtime story with tuck in time. You will not want to miss this special weekend with the bears.
Nov 29-Dec 1: Thankful & Grateful Weeked: A weekend where we reflect on what we have to be thankful for with a thankful tree. We will have coloring contests, relay races, nature walks, fall crafts and more.
December:
6-8: Holly Jolly Weekend: Celebrate the season with a festive “hey” ride, gingerbread house decorating, crafts and a Christmas Tree Lighting event.
13-15: Yogi Bear’s Express Weekend: Yogi Bear™ has a lot of fun planned for this weekend with crafts, games, and a pj movie night with treats.
26-Jan. 1: New Year's Special: Pay for 3 nights, stay up to 5! Come celebrate the New Year with Yogi Bear™! This weekend will feature several activities each day, and a Noon Year’s Eve Party for you and your family to enjoy or you can just sit back and relax or go fishing in one of our many ponds.
