August 2008 Calendar

	August 1 - 3, 2008 Redneck Weekend It’s the 5th Annual Tabor City Jellystone Redneck weekend. Daddy Joe and Yogi Bear team up for some great fun! Car crashing, Redneck Olympics, site decorating contest, and of course the Ms. Jellystone Contest.
	August 8 - 10, 2008 Wet-n-Wild Weekend Bring your super soakers and water balloons for a wet-n-wild time with water games, balloon toss, a “soak the staff” hey ride and much more.
	August 15 - 17, 2008 Olympic Games Weekend Bring your Red, White and Blue and support USA, USA, USA! Celebrate our nation’s athletes by trying some of the Olympic games’ most fun events. Running shoes, Speedos, tumbling music and sweat bands will allow you to fit right in this weekend. Who knows, maybe some Greek gods will show up as well.
	August 22 - 24, 2008 NASCAR & BBQ Weekend BBQ and a race, what more could you ask for! Race Fans wear your favorite Driver’s colors as we watch the Sharpie 500 Sprint Cup race at Bristol Motor Speedway. Kids and Adults enjoy match box car races (bring your own car), bike races, golf cart; races, driving contest, and poker, and much, much more. Cooks come prepared to compete in the 2nd Annual BBQ Cook-off. Campers come prepared to taste at the 2nd Annual BBQ Cook-off–Buffet. ($) Contestant sign-ups and Buffet reservations taken at check in.
	August 29 - September 1, 2008 Labor Day Weekend* 3 nights Minimum. Summer is coming to an end and school is back in session but we are still all about FUN! Enjoy “Back to Sports” themed games and crafts. Bring in your ancient or recent yearbooks for the craziest year book photo contest. Dance the night away at our “High School” Dance Saturday night. Sunday, “rah-rah” at Yogi Bear’s School Pride Brunch, wear your school’s colors and enjoy a delicious meal with Yogi Bear.
